Office Policies

Immunizations?

It is practice policy that we perform mandated immunizations per the CDC Immunization Schedules. We highly encourage and provide but do not require non-mandated vaccinations. We are happy to perform catch-up vaccinations for children with delayed vaccines. We require mandated vaccinations in order to keep our vulnerable population protected - a promise that we make and keep to all patients in our practice. We believe patients have a right to make a different choice and an informed choice; patients that choose a different route for vaccinations would best be served with a pediatrician more aligned with their philosophy.

We look forward to a relationship built on mutual trust and partnership with our families. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to keep our kids healthy and safe!

Cancellation Policy

No Show?

Much effort goes into preparing for your visit. If you are unable to keep your appointment, please, be considerate and notify us no later than 48 business hours before the time of your scheduled appointment to cancel. All “same day – less than 48 hours” well child visits and consults cancelled without proper notification will be charged $50.00 and due at the time of cancellation, or a future appointment cannot be scheduled.

Insurance and Billing

  • Third-Party Billing
  • We are partnering with a third-party billing group, CPR, at this time. CPR is a HIPAA-compliant billing company who is trained to keep Patient Health Information confidential. All billing questions will be directed to CPR. You have the right to elect not to use the third-party biller; however, you will be responsible for submitting all of your claims to your insurance company. Please notify the front office should your decision be to opt-out. Otherwise, it is assumed you consent with use of the third-party biller.

  • Insurance Verification
  • While we do offer courtesy insurance verification for same-day appointments, it is patient responsibility to ensure that insurance is current and valid on the day of the appointment. It is also the patient's responsibility to understand their plan and what will and will not be covered at the time of the visit. Patients are responsible for paying all due balances prior to a visit.

  • Labs
  • We do perform some labs in the office. Also, we may send you out for outpatient labs. Our office does not know individual insurance plan coverage for labs ordered; this is patient responsibility.
