about the world of pediatrics

“What Makes The World of Pediatrics Special?”

The World of Pediatrics is a mother/daughter pediatric practice. Your child will receive consistent care, forming an invaluable relationship with someone that they can trust. All of our patients are considered to be a part of our family, and we take a personal interest in each and every child. Our practice has a special interest in adoption assessment and treatment - please see Dr. L. Vayman's bio below!

Description of Practice

In our Alpharetta practice, we have separate sick and well waiting rooms, as well as a separate entrance for highly contagious rashes and virulent viruses, thereby minimizing exposure to other children. We have TVs and colorful murals in our waiting rooms to provide children with a cheerful and relaxed atmosphere.

We follow the recommendations of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Infant check-ups are completed within 48 hours after hospital discharge. Well child checkups will be completed at 1, 2, 4, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, and 24 months and annually thereafter.

Note: We provide Flu Vaccines to the whole family, so that every one may be immunized at the same time. We will file insurance for our pediatric patients only and provide documentation for others to file insurance for themselves.
